About Create-a-Stitch
Create-a-Stitch was started in our home in 1994. In the beginning, we did digitizing for other embroidery companies only. We had a two head Barudan machine to run samples of our work. We did small orders for friends and family with our small machine. As time went on we got busier and found we needed another machine to keep up with our increasing orders, so we invested in a six head Barudan - we are a Barudan family. We are sole proprietors and invest all of our time in our business.
We started dealing with distributors and and as a result we started getting more work. In 1997, one of our distributors mentioned that he wished we did silkscreening so he could bring us all his work so he could have it all done at one place, the emroidery and silkscreening. So as a result, we did. We started doing silkscreening. We do all artwork and digitizing in house.
We finally ran out of room at our home and found the need to locate a facility to accommodate our increasing business and more importantly, to have a more personal and hands-on rapport with our customers. We are very much involved with the A.C.T.S. community. One important life lesson we learned is that with God, all things are possible.
